The enemy does not seem restricted by CP. ![]() I have starbases on almost all planets, but I'm still finding that my entire fleet seems to measure just one of many stacks of an enemies fleet. The CP cap seems stacked against the player. I think I would contend with them a lot better if the wormhole opened and the Master Fleet didn't leave the wormhole (ie I only battle them if I choose to enter the wormhole for a reward), or else the Master Fleet empire has a preallocated section of space carved out for themselves that I can enter via the wormhole, if I desire to fight an insanely hard enemy.įleet management is extremely hard right now. I basically consider them like a natural disaster at this point, that will just steamroll through my empire destroying stuff. They are incredibly difficult to beat even in the late game, let alone the early game. The latest patch has definitely toned down the wormhole spam attacks, but even so I'm finding that even in my late game that if one of those "Master Ship" wormholes pop up I basically know I'm going to lose my fleet, a bunch of freighters and a bunch of starbases. ![]() I know the game is supposed to be hard, but there is a difference between hard and unbalanced. Wormholes are the bane of the game for me right now. All my play experience has been on Easy Mode. Since Zero occassionally comments on the board here, I thought some feedback might be useful. I'm having a lot of fun with SD2 at the moment but definitely running into some grievances.
